CONTRACT AWARDED for PLANT IMPROVEMENTS

As part of the phasing to increase the water treatment plant’s production capabilities to meet the needs of the members, a $2,773,500 contract was awarded on December 16 to PKG of Fargo. The contract includes adding two 1,250 h.p. pumps and associated VFDs to the high service pump station, more A/C units in the pump station’s electrical room, as well as expanding the plant’s CO2 feed and handling system with a third “skid”.

Of this amount, $341,500 will be covered by operations to add A/C to the main pump room. Federal funding will be used for the rest of the work.
