Lewis & Clark (L&C) Board of Director, Larry Pedley of Sibley, received L&C’s highest honor, the “Trailblazer Award”, for his long-time support of the project and dedicated service on the board of directors. The L&C meter building at Sibley will be dedicated in Larry’s honor when it is completed. Pictured is Chairman Murray Hulstein of Sioux Center presenting Larry with the award, which is a painting depicting the Lewis & Clark explorers at the top of Spirit Mound, which is a few miles north of the treatment plant near Vermillion. Murray is holding the plaque in honor of Larry that will be placed on the meter building when it is completed.
