HAIN RECEIVES “TRAILBLAZER AWARD”

Director Scott Hain was surprised with the Lewis & Clark Trailblazer Award at the Worthington ribbon cutting ceremony on June 11. This is the organization’s highest honor. Hain is the General Manager of Worthington Public Utilities and has served on the Lewis & Clark Board of Directors since 2006. In addition to serving on all five of the Lewis & Clark committees, Hain led the local effort in working with then-Governor Dayton and local legislators to secure over $40M in federal funding advances. He has also worked closely with MN’s congressional leaders. Congratulations to Scott on this well-deserved award! The award is a print of the Lewis & Clark explorers on top of Spirit Mound, a short distance from the water treatment plant near Vermillion.
