MUNSON HONORED WITH L&C TRAILBLAZER AWARD

Lewis & Clark (L&C) Board of Director, Sid Munson of Tea, received L&C’s highest honor, the “Trailblazer Award”, for his long-time support of the project and dedicated service on the board of directors. The L&C meter building at Tea will be dedicated in Sid’s honor. Sid has served on the Board and various committees for 22 years and counting. He served on the Tea City Council for 21 years, where he was a strong L&C advocate. He also served as L&C’s director on the SD Association of Rural Water Systems’ board of directors for over 7 years.
Sid is pictured with the award, which is a painting depicting the Lewis & Clark explorers at the top of Spirit Mound, which is a few miles north of the treatment plant near Vermillion. He is also holding the plaque that will be placed on the meter building when it is completed.
